SENIORS WEEK OCT 10-16
Tasmania is a diverse and culturally rich state. One of the major events of the year is the council of the ageing's Seniors Week event usually held in October and this year is no different.This October 10-16, Maria Brown Hearing Clinic is holding an exclusive statewide hearing event in partnership with Siemens Hearing for all Tasmanian Seniors card holders. All participants at our Hobart, Bellerive and Launceston offices will be able to come in and learn about their hearing with the following event offers:

As a Seniors Week participant for the past 12 years, this is truly our favourite event of the year as it allows seniors card holders to learn about one of the truly ignored parts of our bodies, our ears!
Hearing loss now effects one in three people over the age of 50 and is fast becoming one of Australia's major health issues. Hearing loss is also proven to be one of the major contributing factors to depression in people over 50, isolation and communication difficulties with family, friends and loved ones. The cost of ignoring hearing loss is increasing the more we learn about it.
